Shayna Baker

Shayna Baker, a native of Huntington Beach, California was relocated with her family to the South Shore of Massachusetts as a teenager.  Soon after her arrival she knew it was home. She loved the sense of community that New England possesses as well as the beautiful landscape. While going through the process of finding her first home she became intrigued with every aspect of real estate.  Her first home had great bones, but needed a cosmetic remodel and she soon found that designing and staging the home was something she had a knack for.  After this purchase she enjoyed going to open houses and followed the market as a pastime.  She sold that first home in 2001 and over the next five years flipped two more homes that she remodeled.  She also built a home before landing in Cohasset to settle down.  Most recently Shayna left a career in the mortgage industry where she was an operations manager for a branch of a mortgage bank.  She took a hiatus after the birth of her third child to care for him.  Upon preparing to return to work, and after much encouragement, she followed her passion to be in real estate.  Over the years Shayna has helped friends with many aspects of their real estate transactions and found that she truly loves the process. A Cohasset resident, wife, and mother of three, she has an unparalleled enthusiasm for working with people and helping them with buying and/or selling a home and what she refers to as “one of the most important and exciting undertakings most people will embark upon”.  She strives to exceed expectations and understands that the longevity of her career will rely almost solely on that promise.  Grateful and excited to have recently joined the team of professionals at Preferred Properties Realty in Norwell, Shayna believes that, due to its central location, she can best serve not only her community of Cohasset, but also her neighbors in the surrounding towns of the South Shore.
